Ingredients:
4 cups grated Ivory Snow bar soap
2 cups Washing Soda
2 cups Borax
1 cup Baking Soda (optional) but an added odor remover if you have it on hand :)
Mix all of the above ingredients together.
Use 1 tbsp per load. Seriously, that is all you need.
If you liked you can also add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the mix.
I have saved HUNDREDS of dollars over the years using this recipe!!
Try it yourself, really…you won’t be disappointed!

Hey Donna!
How are you? Did you have a good Thanksgiving? I would have emailed you, but I couldn’t find an email address for you. I swear I had one, at some point. Anyhow, I saw that you started an Etsy shop, and I love your stuff! I think they would be great gifts, so just thought I would send you a quick note to see if you’d ever be interested in putting your stuff on http://www.RoseRibbon.com? I’d love to put you up as a Featured Artist. Email me at pamrondini@roseribbon.com if you’re interested, and I’d be happy to fill you in on the details and terms. If not, no worries and no pressure! :)
Have a great Holiday,
Xoxo Pam
Wow Pam…I am honored :) And I am not sure WHY I don’t have an email anywhere, I should fix that…thanks for the heads up :)
One tbsp? That doesn’t sound like a lot for a load of laundry… but if it worked for you, cool! :-)

I know, it really does work with only that much, though after throwing a cup or so of normal detergent in there for like…ever, it is a hard habit to break :)
Well done! I should perhaps try it, given how much washing we do around this place!

you will be amazed how much you save :)
OK, great, but do I use my cheese grater for shaving the Ivory soap?
2. That wonderful bucket: where did you get that?
I love this video, and it lets me get to see You, :) Bravo, “standing ovation from me.”
Thank you Jackie :) The bucket is an old one that I used to get the washing soda in…I use my cheese grater :)
Cool concoction!
I thought you were making explosives at first. :) Nice work!
