Oh. Boy. Don’t get me started on online dating nightmares… books to write, tales to tell and lucky for me I can read the phone book and give their names to all their partners/wives… don’t these people even think about this stuff??? Apparently not… it’s a whacko world of weirdos in the online dating scene. A girl has to watch out for herself and be careful. That’s all I really know about that business anymore and it is a business, sadly, based on hopes of others but the truth is there aren’t many opportunities out there to meet new people… seems like that’s all I did before I was married… then after I was married, no end of singles, now that I’m single, no end of marrieds… NOT my cup of tea, ever but I better shutup because I just realized I’m blogging on your blog, sorry… thanks for sharing :)

I don’t remove old names or e-mail addresses or phone numbers for years. I don’t have a phone with a 100-person limit; so what’s the hurry to delete/clean up. For one thing, it means I know who’s calling ME if the phone rings.. :) For another, just occasionally someone gets ill or there’s an emergency and I find I have to make contact with someone I haven’t talked to in a long time.
Having said that, you dumped him so it’s odd that he would contact you after all this time with such a poorly-worded e-mail AND expect his illiteracy to have you trembling to meet him. I suggest you hide in Nova Scotia until Monday.. :)
