Munchie Mondays~Baked stuffed trout

I found this recipe online, and since I LOVE stuffing and had some freshly frozen trout, I thought I would give it a try!!

BAKED STUFFED TROUT

1 (8 oz.) cleaned trout
6 fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 med. onions, chopped
1/4 c. chopped parsley
butter
1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
Pinch of sage
1/4 tsp. onion salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. celery salt
Fresh ground pepper
Wash trout in cold water, pat dry. Saute mushrooms, onions and parsley in 4 tablespoons butter until onions are soft. Toss onion mixture with bread crumbs. Add sage, onion salt, garlic salt, celery salt and pepper to taste. Stuff trout cavities and place in buttered baking pan. Brush trout with butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-35 minutes. Serve hot. Place any extra stuffing in baking dish, cover and place in oven 20 minutes before serving.

This is A N EXACT…Word for word COPY of America’s Test Kitchen, “Stuffed trout” recipe INCLUDING the same error in the quantity of Trout to cook. Should be 4-6 NOT ONE. Someone has plegerized this.

Yeah, I'm a fish stick man myself. Over the years I've developed a great recipe…
      1. Take one straight pretzel for every fish stick and marinade it, laying flat on waxed paper, in ketchup for two hours.
      2. Freeze the pretzels.
      3. Drill a hole lengthwise in the fish sticks using a #8 drill bit.
      4. Jam the frozen pretzel into the fish stick and bake according to the instructions Cap'n Highliner was good enough to take time out of his busy day to write on the box.
      5. Serve with canned peas and Tater Tots for a hearty maritime meal!
