Five Question Friday…

Five Question Friday…

1. Dream job…realistic and completely unrealistic.

Realistically I have it already, I love working at the garden centre!! It is a great job with amazing people, the only thing I would change is that I would love to work year round :)

Unrealistically,  I wish I could get paid for blogging…but maybe one day building blogs might be an option :)

2. Do you fart in front of your significant other?

Well good lord…absolutely NOT if it is at all preventable, but sometimes you don’t have a choice, hehehehehehe….

3. What’s the furthest you’ve ever traveled from home? How far and where was it?

Probably when I went to Cancun and Cozumel on my honeymoon, I have no idea how far it is, was about an 8 hour flight, and it was in 1990, a million years ago now…

4. How do you celebrate birthday for your kids? Family only or friends? … Alternate for those without kiddos: How did you celebrate birthdays as a kid?

My kids always had parties with family and friends, so a lot of times there were two parties!!! As a kid, I only ever had my birthday with my family because I was born on Christmas day :) but I always celebrate on Christmas Eve, so I got two days of opening presents.

5. Fave thing about fall?

I love when everything changes color, ohh…and wearing boots, I know that’s two things but tough :)

As is my habit, I'm posting my five answers on your blog. It's much faster than creating my own post and any flack from my answers goes here instead of to my blog!

    1. Realistic: ESL teacher in Korea or freelance landscape/travel photographer. Unrealistic: National Geographic's photographic correspondent to tropical topless beaches.
    2. Yup. Between my curries and her kimchee (pickled spicy cabbage) we have on whirlwind of a marriage. We have been known to perform a duet of "Ebony and Ivory" on our trouser trumpets.
    3. I've been to South Korea a couple of times, all the way to the DMZ on both coastlines… I don't know which would be farther… probably their west coast.
    4. My son lives about 750 km away so I don't see him on his birthday. He does come down at some of the following: Christmas, 2-4 weekend, St. Jean Baptiste Day, and Labour Day.
    5. Turkey, not having to sweat so much as in summer, and the colours!

What questions!  I've finally managed to subscribe, by the way.

As for the furthest I've travelled from home……… probably England, that is a 24 hour flight not to mention the other time in airports!  Kansas is also pretty far from me, as is Florida.  Nigeria is not exactly around the corner, especially when I had to spend a whole 12 or so hours sitting in Johannesburg airport waiting for a connection to Lagos.

Hey, when Single Dad Laughing had to ask for help, in that Blog someone told him about a way to make $$ blogging, go have a look a his blog if you didn't get to read it. You never know! It was one or two ago, good luck.
    1)  Dream job, to work at home again, just typing crap on the computer. Mindless and it was good pay. Everything I look at now seems to be a scam.
    2)  It took me many years before I let them rip, he never had a problem. He always said they're a human emotion. So I guess I'm very emotional these days.
    3)  I'm not sure which is further away, London, Liverpool, Amsterdam or Hawaii. However I only got to see the airport in Amsterdam. However their toilets has warnings signs not to sit a flush as it could cause sever medical problems and a lady who was rude to my friend turned backwards on the moving sidewalks, fell, and her wig went flying off her head. It was pretty funny. I guess you had to be there. LOL
    4)  Birthdays are a big deal in our family, so therefore it was always a family get together and also a kids party. Even us old folks still have cake on our special day and go out with friends for dinner. Any excuse for cake I say.
    5)  The crisp mornings, mist on the water, the little bit of colour the trees give us (I'm from Ontario), and my heated seats. hahaha
    Have a great day everyone.
