Video Tutorial ~ Homemade Laundry Soap

4 cups grated Ivory Snow bar soap

2 cups Washing Soda

2 cups Borax

1 cup Baking Soda (optional) but an added odor remover if you have it on hand :)

Mix all of the above ingredients together.

Use 1 tbsp per load. Seriously, that is all you need.

If you liked you can also add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the mix.

I have saved HUNDREDS of dollars over the years using this recipe!!

Try it yourself, really…you won’t be disappointed!

    Hey Donna!

How are you? Did you have a good Thanksgiving? I would have emailed you, but I couldn’t find an email address for you. I swear I had one, at some point. Anyhow, I saw that you started an Etsy shop, and I love your stuff! I think they would be great gifts, so just thought I would send you a quick note to see if you’d ever be interested in putting your stuff on I’d love to put you up as a Featured Artist. Email me at if you’re interested, and I’d be happy to fill you in on the details and terms. If not, no worries and no pressure! :)

    Have a great Holiday,
    Xoxo Pam

OK, great, but do I use my cheese grater for shaving the Ivory soap?
